12 songs of reinforcement in defense of purity

This is first of a series of Project Updates for WIN THIS WAR, a music CD which leads young men to embrace sexual purity as an essential part of their daily lives. This project began in the heart of Fred Stoeker, co-author of EVERY MAN'S BATTLE and many other books focusing on sexual purity. Fred's new book, TACTICS, was released by Waterbrook Press at the end of September of this year and the principles outlined in this book became the blueprint for the WIN THIS WAR CD.
It is our hope and prayer that this CD, along with the book and other resources found at www.FredStoeker.com will serve young men, parents and pastors as they fight together to become and remain pure in their relationships and before God.

PROJECT UPDATE

WIN THIS WAR is mostly completed! We had originally been looking at a fall release date, but for a number of good reasons, we have made the decision to push the release of the CD forward. This will give us the time we need to ensure it is done with excellence, and that the RIGHT artists are involved (we'd love to hear from you about our line up so far). We really did feel that rushing this project would not be in anyone's best interest, and in fact, we believe that some of the recent additions have been VERY exciting and providential (Mike Weaver from Big Daddy Weave, for example).
Producer, Chuck Dennie (originally lead singer with By The Tree) is doing an awesome job of putting it all together. He has been working very hard for the past few months, writing, creating and producing the music. Chuck has written a couple songs for the album, including the title song. We're pleased to announce that the following artists have been confirmed to be on the album:

From sports to school to business, I've had a lot of success in my life, but without question my greatest achievement has been my marriage. It was worth every humbling sacrifice before God and every chunk of old character that Brenda helped me chip away and toss in the dumpster of life. To embrace marriage is to embrace change, and because I've embraced change in myself at every turn of our marital road, I'm still embracing Brenda today, whether life is delivering pain or peace, laughter or tears.
I'm a man, and I'm still Fred. Marriage has simply made me a better man, and a better Fred. May you embrace change, and may your marriage bless each one of you, all the days of your life.
Regarding WIN THIS WAR - I'm so pleased to see this project coming together. It has been on my heart for a number of years. The bottom line is that I've learned, the hard way, how important it is to live a life of purity. My heart's prayer is that this project will spread to young men everywhere, having an impact that will last for eternity.
